Phrase Integration
Connect Phrase with Parta.io to translate courses and return completed translations.
What is Phrase?
Phrase is the world’s leading Language Intelligence Platform that automates, manages, and delivers multilingual content for deeper customer connections and faster business growth.
How the integration works?
The integration sends Parta.io courses to Phrase for translation.
After translation, Phrase returns the course to Parta.io.
Then you can edit or publish it.
Set the Phrase Integration
1. Get Required URL from Parta.io
Open your Parta.io account.
Go to Company Settings tab.
Go to Translation tab.
Hover over Phrase and click Connect.
A pop-up window will appear.
Copy the Redirect URL from the Integration setup section.
2. Create an OAuth app in Phrase
In new browser tab open your Phrase account.
Select Phrase TMS.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Integrations section and select Registered OAuth Apps.
Click +New.
Enter any descriptive name (e.g., 'Parta.io') at the Name field.
Paste a Redirect URL copied at the step 1 to the Redirect URL field.
Enter any additional info at the Description field (optional).
Click the Save button.
A new record will appear at the list of apps.
Copy the ID at the Client ID column.
3. Connect Phrase with Parta.io
Open your Parta.io account.
Go to Company Settings tab.
Go to Translation tab.
Hover over Phrase and click Connect.
A pop-up window will appear.
Select the Phrase Data Center that matches your account.
Paste the Client ID from Phrase.
Copy the Redirect URL at the Webhook setup section.
Do not close this connection window yet. Parta.io saves the Client ID only after setup completes.
4. Create a webhook in Phrase
In new browser tab open your Phrase account.
Select Phrase TMS.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Integrations section and select Webhooks.
Click +Add webhook or + New.
Paste the Parta.io redirect URL into the URL field.
Enable the Job status changed toggle.
Click the Create Webhook button.
5. Authorize the integration
Return to your Parta.io connection window.
Click the Save button.
A new Phraze log in window will appear.
Complete authorization in Phrase.
Select Allow.
6. Configure the Phrase workflow
Phrase uses a workflow step to return completed translations to Parta.io.
Open your Phrase account.
Select Phrase TMS.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Project settings section and select Workflow steps.
Click +New workflow step.
Enter Push to Parta as the workflow step name.
Enter the abbreviation value.
The value is based on your internal process.
Enter the order value.
The value is based on your internal process.
Click the Create button.
Add Push to Parta to each localization template used with Parta.io.
The workflow step name must be exactly Push to Parta. Mark this step as Completed to return the translation.
Translate a Project with Phrase
Open a Project and go to the Translation tab
Click AI Translation.
Select Phrase at the Provider drop-down menu.
Select a translation template.
The project name and languages are pre-filled.
Click the Translate button.
When the Push to Parta step is completed, the translated course appears in Catalog.
Phrase uses the Parta.io project name by default. Duplicate names receive an index.
