Navigate through the Editor Menu

After opening an editor, the editor menu will be available.

The editor menu consists of the following parts:

Course content

Move between sections to conveniently explore the content.

Section block list

Move between section blocks to easily navigate through the section content.

Block structure

Move between block elements to display the block structure and interact with all the individual and grouped elements.

Quick Add

Get quick access to recently used or favorite templates and template collections.

Settings

Select how to display basic options in the editor.

An editor basic options window will appear.

a. Canvas background

Change the Canvas background color and its intensity by using a hex color code or selecting a shade from the palette.

b. Highlight color

Change the Highlight color and its intensity by using a hex color code or selecting a shade from the palette.

c. Show divider

Click No to hide gray divider in content mode that indicates block borders.

d. Always show comments

Click No to display comments only in comment mode.

e. Always show tasks

Click No to display tasks only in task mode.

f. Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Notifications

Access the Notifications log without leaving the editor.

Device Type View

Select device type to change the screen size.

Compare different devices view in editor or preview mode to ensure that course components perfectly display on any screen size.

Tasks

Enable task manager to create tasks and link them to content blocks or elements either during project planning or while editing.

Comments

Enable comment manager to leave comments and link them to content blocks or elements either in editor or preview mode.

Pro mode

Enable pro-mode to customize templates and create unique blocks using the no-code editor.

Share

Create a public link to allow reviewing the course, specific section or even a block without registering or logging in Parta.io.

Preview

Preview a course on various screen sizes as you build it or review a course.
