Mapping
Mapping creates association-based assessments where learners match related items across two columns. It’s ideal for testing understanding of relationships, concept connections, or paired information through an interactive matching interface.
Style settings
Answer
Drag icon upload
Upload or select a custom icon for the drag handle that appears on mappable items
Background color
Define the background color for mappable items containers
Rounding
Adjust corner radius of the mappable item containers
Border color
Set the color for borders around mappable item containers
Thickness
Adjust border thickness of mappable item containers
Hover color
Set the color that appears when users hover over mappable items
Answer selection (mobile version)
Jump to icon
Upload or select an icon that indicates selection options on mobile devices
Selected background
Set the background color for selected items in the mobile interface
Effects
Answer shadow
Add and configure shadow effects for answer options:
Click the "+" icon to add shadow effects
Select from shadow styles: None, Soft, Regular, or Retro.
Spacing
Row paddings
Configure the spacing inside mappable items
(top, right, bottom, left)
Margin between answers
Set the vertical spacing between consecutive mappable pairs
Margin from icon
Set the spacing between drag icons and mappable item content
Typography settings
Use Rich-text on the Typography tab to apply specific formatting to the text within the mapping. Changes made here affect only the text in the Mapping element:
