Create quiz

To create a content for Quiz section, select the Quiz in the structure and go to the course Editor.

Quiz requirements

The quiz should have:

• an introductory block explaining its settings (attempts allowed, time limit, question count),

• closing block with results (pass/fail status, percentage score, retakes, time taken, correct answers)

Adding these blocks is required for every quiz.

Click on the desired block to add introductory and closing blocks from the available templates.

In the left side panel, these blocks are labeled "Start" and "Results."

Both blocks allow you to flexibly manage how things are displayed. Personalize the introductory block and add a custom description for your closing block.

After you created blocks Start and Results, you can add quiz questions. Click on the "+" button located in the bottom right corner of the screen. In the pop-up window, choose a template(s).

You can change the settings for elements by switching between them (text, button, feedback, etc.).

Add more options to question

To add more options to a multiple-choice element, click the "+" button at the element's bottom left corner.

Delete answer option

You can delete an answer option by clicking the "X" button opposite to that option.

Mark correct answer

The correct answer to a question can be presented simply by clicking on one of the options.

Duplicate question block

To quickly create quiz questions, you can duplicate your question template. To do this, go to the settings, click "…" in the right side panel, and select "Duplicate."

Delete question block

To delete question (block with question), go to the settings, click "…" on the right side panel, and select "Delete".

Replace template (question block)

To replace question (block with question), go to the settings, click "…" on the right side panel, and select "Replace".

Please note that your changes to the original template will be discarded.

Move question block

Your questions will appear as slides in the left panel, making it easy to navigate the quiz content. You can change the question order by dragging the slides.

Use the arrows (← or →) at the bottom of the editor for quick navigation. You can also open the left side menu.

Quiz settings

To access specific quiz section settings, go to the course contents (course structure).

Click on the quiz section and then, on the right, open the "Quiz" section to access settings for that particular quiz section.

Time limit

A dropdown menu to select a time limit for the quiz.

Passing score

A field to enter the percentage score needed to pass the test.

Quiz retries

Toggle switches to allow or disallow retries of the quiz.

Order

Here you can set the order of questions "Linear" or "Random".

If the "Order" option is set to "random", you can specify the number of questions that will be randomly selected from the total pool of questions.

Progress bar

Decide whether to show or hide the progress bar during the test.

Show result

Decide if the question result should be shown after answer.

Disable quiz exit

Enable or disable the ability to exit the test before completion.
