Integration with LMS

With our new LMS integration feature, you can now connect Parta.io to Skilljar, simplifying the process of publishing and managing your courses.

Set Up the Integration

To begin using the Skilljar integration, follow these steps:

1. Go to Company Settings in Parta.io.

2. Open the LMS Integrations tab.

Parta.io account -> Company Settings -> LMS Integrations.

1. Click + Add LMS.

2. Select Skilljar from the list of LMS options.

3. Enter a name for your integration (e.g., "Skilljar Integration") and paste your API Key from Skilljar. Note: You can create multiple integration connections with a single LMS.

4. Save your settings. The integration will now be active.

Once set up, you’re ready to transfer courses from Parta.io to Skilljar.

Publish Courses to Skilljar

After setting up the integration, you can publish your courses directly to Skilljar:

1. Finalize your course in Parta.io.

2. Go to the course’s Export Settings.

3. Choose Publish to LMS in Action field.

4. Select the SCORM format.

   
5. Adjust any LMS-specific settings, such as course completion triggers or debugging options, if needed.

6. Click Publish to transfer the course to Skilljar.

Publishing means that Parta.io automatically creates a course and a lesson with the prebuilt SCORM file, significantly reducing the steps required to set up a course in your LMS. If your company has an LMS specialist responsible for managing course exports and imports, you can easily control their permissions using our advanced User Management system.

Once publishing is complete, log in to Skilljar and verify that your course appears on the Courses page. From there, you can make any necessary adjustments, as future updates to the course content will not affect its existing settings.

Skilljar account -> Course Management -> Courses -> select a course.

Update Published Courses

If you need to make changes or fix issues in a published course, you can update it directly without creating duplicates in Skilljar:

1. Make changes to your course in Parta.io.

2. Go back to the course’s Export Settings.

3. Click Update button to replace the existing version of the course in Skilljar.
