Button

An interactive element that enables various functions: opening a link to another website, navigating through a course, or carrying out specific activities such as accepting an answer, preventing scrolling, or completing the course.

Double-click on an element to view its settings.

Button could be:

  • A link.

  • Internal course navigation.

  • Download file.

  • Continue.

  • Action in block.

Here, you can enter the web address of the link and set button name.

2. Course navigation

You can navigate users to the next or previous section.

You can also specify the section and block that users should navigate to.

If you copy or delete the linked block, it will break the button link and make it inactive.

3. Download file

To add a file for downloading, click the "upload file" button.

4. Continue

The "continue" button type stops users from quickly scrolling through the course content.

4.1 Continue, condition "no"

Setting the condition to "no" prevents users from quickly scrolling through the course content. They must click on the button to proceed.

4.2 Continue, condition "block above passed"

Setting the condition to "block above passed" prevents users from quickly scrolling through the course content. They must view/interact with the block placed above.

4.3 Continue, condition "all blocks completed"

Setting the condition to "all blocks completed" prevents users from quickly scrolling through the course content. They must view/interact with all blocks placed above.

5. Action in block

The action of a button changes depending on where it is used, like in content page, a quiz, or in the cover.

For example, a button placed in a content page could only complete the course.

In another example, a button placed in the "start" quiz block could only start the quiz.
